1950 International Convention and Quartet Contest|
The images below show the program of the 1950 SPEBSQSA International Convention and Quartet Contest held in Omaha, Nebraska. The Buffalo Bills won this contest to become the 1950 International Quartet Champion, before becoming even more famous in Meredith Wilson's The Music Man. Note the description of the judging criteria and the article by Society founder O. C. Cash, as well as the quartet contest information.
This program was among the materials given to the Deliverymen by Earle E. House, when the quartet sang for his 99th birthday celebration on December 13, 2015. Earle and his family attended this convention and contest.
